Who am I?
Hello, I’m Fred.
I’m a software engineer, muso and bonsai collector from Pretoria, South Africa. I’m a bit of a code junkie and spend most of my time tinkering with the web. I also play bass for Blessed Are The Meek and collect bonsai trees (or most recently, I just try and keep the ones I have alive).
Why I am blogging?
I started this blog for a number of reasons. Some of them I still don’t know yet. The main reason being to put my thoughts into writing and improve on my writing skills. This will aid as a repository for myself about anything I find interesting, educational or entertaining.
What will I be blogging about?
I have a keen interest in technology and the business around emerging technologies we deal with today, so that should form the bulk of my posts. Expect anything from software development related tutorials to discussions on how to take care of tiny trees. The blog could also become part of a bigger initiative to fuel my web development side-quest.
How can people give feedback/ contribute/ collaborate?
I’d very much like people to engage with me. Working on my writing skills (especially technical writing) is the main objective here, so critical feedback is welcome. Drop me a line via the contact page or just comment on a post to get the discussion going.
